reiki

At Transcendent Sanctuary, Reiki sessions are offered in a calm and supportive environment where participants can step away from everyday demands and create space for rest, reflection, and personal connection.

“A compassionate space for healing, growth, and connection.”
A GENTLE WELLNESS PRACTICE
Modern life can leave very little time to slow down and simply notice how we are feeling.
Reiki offers intentional time for quiet, rest, and personal awareness in a peaceful setting. Sessions are generally gentle and do not require participants to talk about personal experiences unless they choose to.
The experience should emphasize comfort, consent, personal boundaries, and individual choice.
Please note: Reiki is a nonclinical wellness service. It is not psychotherapy, medical treatment, or a substitute for appropriate mental-health or medical care.

WHAT PARTICIPANTS MAY EXPERIENCE
Reiki Experience
A gentle wellness experience focused on creating space for relaxation, mindful presence, and intentional self-care in a calm and supportive setting.
Sessions offer quiet time to rest, notice the present moment, reconnect with yourself, and reflect on your personal well-being. Each experience may feel different depending on the individual.

Some participants may find that the quiet setting offers an opportunity to slow down and rest.

A Reiki session may provide intentional time to notice the present moment without everyday distractions.

Quiet time may create space for internal reflection and greater awareness of personal needs.

Participants may notice sensations, areas of tension, comfort, or relaxation during the experience.

The session may provide a calm environment to step away from responsibilities and emotional demands.

Reiki can be approached as time intentionally set aside for personal well-being and restoration.
Every participant’s experience is different. No particular emotional, physical, energetic, or therapeutic outcome is guaranteed.
UNDERSTANDING THE PRACTICE
Reiki is commonly described as a Japanese-origin wellness practice in which a practitioner uses gentle hand placements or hands positioned near the body during a quiet session. The participant typically remains fully clothed.
At Transcendent Sanctuary, the experience should always be guided by clear expectations, consent, personal boundaries, and participant comfort.
Review what the experience involves, ask questions, discuss comfort preferences, and establish clear boundaries.
